CDSMI is an independent aviation consultancy specializing in aircraft stand design, terminal apron planning, and aircraft parking strategies.
The company was founded by Cedric Daros, whose background combines hands-on aircraft operations with airport planning, airside coordination, and aircraft simulation.
Cedric began his aviation career working directly with aircraft in both operational and airline environments, including Air Canada. This included experience in aircraft ground handling, turnaround operations, and terminal apron activity — providing firsthand insight into how aircraft stands and servicing areas function in real conditions.
He later joined the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (Toronto Pearson International Airport), where he spent over a decade working in airport operations and airside coordination.
In this role, he worked closely with airlines, NAV Canada, engineering teams, and construction partners to plan and implement solutions for complex airside challenges.
This work included:
- Aircraft stand layout planning
- Aircraft movement simulation and validation
- Operational planning during construction and disruptions
- Coordination across multiple stakeholders
Cedric has worked directly with airlines and airport stakeholders to develop solutions tailored to real operational requirements, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and practical implementation.
This combined experience informs CDSMI’s approach — delivering aircraft stand and terminal apron solutions that are technically sound, operationally practical, and ready for real-world use.
